Wij willen dat u bij Karmenta vlot terecht kan voor uw klachten. Toch is enige wachttijd niet altijd te voorkomen. Wij doen er alles aan om deze tijd zo kort mogelijk te houden. In het algemeen zijn de wachttijden bij Karmenta korter dan in de ziekenhuizen en vallen ze binnen de normen van de overheid.

Ontzettend trots en tevreden zijn we over onze nieuwe locatie op de tweede verdieping in gezondheidscentrum Ceres in Heesch. Het is schitterend geworden en Karmenta's administratie is inmiddels verhuisd. 

Op dit moment wordt er volgens een strakke planning hard gewerkt aan de nieuwe polikliniek van Karmenta op de tweede verdieping van Gezondheidscentrum Ceres in Heesch. Het is gaaf om te zien hoe alle plannen, die creatief begonnen en samenkwamen in het Karmenta team nu daadwerkelijk gestalte krijgen.

Bij een klein aantal mensen die het medicijn Veoza (fezolinetant) gebruiken, is leverletsel waargenomen. Dit is nieuwe informatie die eerder niet bekend was. Daarom is het belangrijk dat je leverfunctie met een bloedtest wordt gecontroleerd als je start met Veoza.

Ook dit najaar heeft Karmenta weer onderhandeld met de zorgverzekeraars voor contracten in 2025. Hieronder de stand van zaken:

Artsen hebben veel administratieve taken. Teveel volgens velen, want het is tijd die niet aan de zorgverlening besteed wordt. Het ministerie van VWS maakt werk van het verder verminderen van administratieve regeldruk in de zorg, onder andere met het programma [Ont]Regel de Zorg. Ook bij Karmenta richten we ons liever op de zorg dan op de administratie. En onze patienten kunnen hierdoor eenvoudiger bij Karmenta terecht.

Graag is Karmenta laagdrempelig bereikbaar voor vragen. Om alle vragen adequaat te kunnen verwerken geven we u graag informatie hoe u ons het beste kan bereiken. 

Bent u patient bij Karmenta en wilt u een nieuw recept aanvragen? Vul dan het formulier in in het patientenportaal op onze website, uw aanvraag komt dan automatisch in uw dossier terecht en uw behandelaar kan het recept uitschrijven.

Karmenta is een voortrekker bij het gebruik van de nieuwe API koppelingsmogelijkheden van het Medicore EPD van Tenzinger. Deze innovatie maakt het onder andere mogelijk om formulieren die patienten in het patientenportaal invullen automatisch aan hun dossier in Medicore toe te voegen. Het (foutgevoelige) knippen & plakken en inscannen door de medewerkers op de polikliniek wordt erdoor verminderd en alle informatie over de behandeling wordt gestructureerd verzameld in het dossier van de patient.

Soms willen patienten hun identiteit naar Karmenta versturen, bijvoorbeeld als het eerste consult via Beeldbellen gaat. Dat moet dan natuurlijk wel op een veilige manier. Hieronder een handige oplossing daarvoor.

Het is een ongelofelijk groot probleem voor onze patienten en de apothekers: bepaalde medicijnen die Karmenta's artsen voorschrijven zijn niet leverbaar! Wat valt er aan te doen?

Het is weer najaar, dus zorginstellingen zijn weer druk bezig met contractonderhandelingen met zorgverzekeraars. Karmenta ook. Hieronder de stand van zaken:

De wijze waarop patienten zich kunnen registreren op de website (voor Beeldbellen bijvoorbeeld) is veranderd. Afgelopen tijd hebben we het getest in testomgevingen en afgelopen tijd is het nieuwe patienten-portaal stap-voor-stap in gebruik genomen op de website van Karmenta.

Mw. Vera Haitsma werkte eerder al voor Karmenta en ze is gespecialiseerd in de behandeling van overgangsklachten. Ze woont in de regio Rotterdam en de afstand naar Schijndel was lastig voor haar. Maar we zijn heel blij dat Vera weer aanhaakt bij Karmenta, in eerste instantie met een virtueel spreekuur en Beeldbellen. Mw. Haitsma start in september met haar online spreekuur.

Als er met u een ingreep of operatie wordt afgesproken bij Karmenta, dan valt dat onder de zogenoemde geneeskundige behandelovereenkomst met de medisch specialist die u gaat opereren. Het is belangrijk dat u formele toestemming geeft voor de behandeling met een toestemmingsverklaring.

De politiek, de zorgverzekeraars en ziekenhuizen verwachten veel van samenwerking tussen zorgaanbieders. Zoals ook recent beschreven in het Integraal zorgakkoord. De juiste zorg kan ermee op de juiste plek aangeboden worden, de wachttijden kunnen korter en de kosten kunnen lager.

We would like to inform you about some business aspects of the medical care at Karmenta.

Karmenta is a so-called non-contracted healthcare provider of specialist medical care, which is almost always covered by the basic insurance of your health insurance.

Karmenta has no contracts with health insurers. As a result, claiming Karmenta's medical care is a bit different than in a hospital.

When you receive the invoice for Karmenta's medical care, you submit it to your health insurance policy and you will receive a reimbursement. However, health insurers often do not determine the reimbursement correctly. For years, insured parties with a policy in kind have received too low a reimbursement when submitting invoices from non-contracted healthcare providers (such as Karmenta). Health insurers must now change that. Karmenta is entitled to proper compensation. And that is why we are adjusting the leniency scheme.

It does not make much difference to the level of Karmenta's rates for healthcare products, but the way in which the rates for passers-by are determined at Karmenta will change. We compared the prices (passerby rates) of Karmenta's care products with the prices of the hospitals in Brabant, and adjusted them. Karmenta's prices of healthcare products (passer-by rates) are therefore on average the same as the prices of other healthcare providers in our region.

As an extra service to our patients, Karmenta offers gynecological products. You just buy them, after your consultation with the gynecologist, at the reception of Karmenta, so you no longer have to go to a drugstore or pharmacy. It's that easy.

Karmenta is a women's clinic that is also frequently visited by foreign women in the Netherlands. A large part of the website is now also available for them in English. By means of the two flags at the top right of the screen, you switch from English to Dutch and back again.

You can videocall with a gynecologist from Karmenta in the online doctor’s office (videoconferencing), to discuss your issues. In order to videocall you’ll need an account on this website, which will give you access to the patient portal. 

To prevent the possible spread of the virus, Karmenta is following the most up to date guidelines. Our consultations are still available. However, if you have any symptoms affecting your respiratory systems (runny nose, cough, sore throat) or a fever? Please talk to our poli-assistant over the phone, before you come to the centre. Furthermore, as a preventative measure we won’t shake your hand and advise our employees, patients and visitors of our clinic to regularly wash our hands.
