Joost van Beekum

Joost van Beekum has been working in urology since 2002, and as a urologist since early 2009.

Initially in hospitals in the west of the country (Leiden and The Hague region) and later in the Eindhoven and Maastricht regions.

In these years he has worked as a general urologist with a specialization in endo-urology (working through the natural openings with small cameras, guide wires and tubes).

Experience was gained both in our own hospitals and through several internships and study trips abroad, both in Europe and in North America.

After years of working in hospitals, he saw room for improvement in patient care in the Netherlands; more time, more attention, good explanation and together decide what we do. This is a motivation for Joost to practice his profession at Karmenta.
